Our 14th Annual Beer Festival!
Saturday 21st April 2018 starting at 12 noon… as always, we close the bar when the beer runs out.
It costs just £5 to get in which includes your souvenir glass and tasting notes. Wine, lager and food will also be on sale and we will be ordering hot sunny weather for the day (fingers crossed!)
As ever, we have a fantastic range of beers for you to sample from far and wide… from Orkney to Kent! The full Beer List is available to view/download here so you can prepare your tasting in advance of the event.
Our FREE entertainment will be provided by:
James Brown – often to be seen with his guitar in Tadcaster, James will be performing a variety of covers from The Beatles to Jake Bugg. Sure to live up to his namesake!
Hoodoo Operators – a four-piece alt-country / rockabilly / bluegrass crossover band from West Yorkshire. Born of booze, blues and a love of doom, they enjoy nothing more than making as much noise as possible without a drummer. Watch them here
Mid Life Crisis – describing themselves as “5 old musos who got together to form a band to promote world peace, harmony and decent live music”… We’re not sure about world peace, but if their performance at this year’s Harrogate Beer Festival is anything to go by, they’ll have everyone dancing to belting tracks from ‘Teenage Kicks’ to ‘Mardy Bum’.
Citizen Smith are a 5-piece covers band from the Yorkshire area combining an eclectic mix of today’s modern day pop, with some classic rock, punk, indie and army banter thrown in as well! Paying special “tongue in cheek” homage to latter day warrior hero “Wolfie Smith” they are the ideal party band with a REVOLUTIONARY set and just the right “good times” attitude to keep everyone moving.
